Pediatric Sedation: Support and Comfort

Our Pediatric Procedural Sedation Center inside Golisano Children's Hospital of Southwest Florida uses sedation and support to make children feel comfortable during certain procedures. We will tailor your child’s experience based on their likes and needs using toys, high-tech items, and anything else we can to help your child laugh and have fun.

The Pediatric Procedural Sedation team, who work at Golisano Children's Hospital of Southwest Florida, includes a certified nursing assistant, four specially trained nurses, a respiratory therapist, an advanced provider, a pediatric intensivist, and a certified child life specialist. Each member of our multidisciplinary team shares the same goal every day: to provide quality, individualized care to you and your family.
