Access to care is extremely important at Lee Health, and through Lee TeleHealth we leverage technology to provide our patients, physicians and caregivers safe and efficient care. In our virtual care visits that give you the same hands-on, compassionate care you get from an in-person visit through Telemedicine.
Eligibility for TeleHealth depends on your medical condition and ultimately is determined by your provider. Talk with your provider or clinic scheduler to see if a virtual care visit is an option for you.
If you have a medical emergency—heart attack, stroke, severe injury or pain, or trouble breathing—please do not use MyChart or Lee TeleHealth. Call 911 immediately or go to the nearest emergency room.

Lee TeleHealth
When to Use: If you'd like to connect with a physician for a non-scheduled urgent care visit, use Lee TeleHealth. This 24/7 service does not require an appointment and is a perfect way to talk to an expert in light of COVID-19 concerns. Use Lee TeleHealth for:
- Cold, flu, headaches, stomach aches, allergies and sore throats
- Certain injuries that are not emergencies
- If you don't have a primary care doctor or can't get an appointment
- If you have transportation issues

MyChart
When to Use: If you have a scheduled video visit with a Lee Health physician, use MyChart. MyChart is your online resource for non-urgent care and non-emergencies. You can also use MyChart for:
- Viewing your test results
- Reading your health summary
- Requesting medication refills
- Sending messages to your doctor's office
- Reviewing and requesting appointments
- Managing healthcare for your loved ones

At Lee Health, our goal is to get you connected with physicians and caregivers as safely and quickly as possible during your stay in the hospital. Most of the time, physicians will be at your bedside, but there are times when we use telemedicine to connect to a physician using our secure, HIPAA compliant technology.
- Telehealth Consultations
To provide safe and efficient access to care, sometimes our specialty physicians will perform the consultation using a Telehealth cart. - Interpretation
If English isn’t your primary language, don’t worry. We can bring in a language interpreter to ensure you clearly understand the information being given to you. - Support Services
To provide safe and efficient access to care, sometimes our Support services will perform the consultation using a Telehealth cart. Lactation, Nutrition, Chronic Care Management, Pharmacy and more.

Healthcare is not a single player sport. We want your family and loved ones to be part of the process, whether it’s as your advocate, another set of eyes and ears, or just to be there for comfort. We have developed some exciting tools that allow your family to be part of the journey.

If your family/advocate cannot be present when the doctor is with you, they can send a text or email link to have them connect and see and hear the consultation or discharge instructions. - Discharge Instructions
If your family/advocate cannot be present when the doctor is discharging you, they can send a text or email link to have them connect and see and hear instructions. - NicView™ Streaming Camera System
Camera in the NICU to allows you to safely & securely see your baby when you can’t be present, allowing families develop a bond with their preemie or hospitalized infant even when they cannot be in the NICU with them. The camera delivers a secure image stream for parents and family members to view their baby remotely. Family members can securely access NicView from anywhere there is an Internet connection via laptop, smartphone, or tablet. It is the next best thing to being there.

NicView™ is an innovative small camera system placed at designated bed spaces and allows parents, family and friends to view their infant in real-time, 24/7, through a secure on-line portal. This service helps families develop that bond with their preemie or hospitalized infant even when they can’t be in the NICU with them.
