Breast Health

Who We Are and What We Do

Many women will develop breast problems at some point in their lives. Fortunately, most breast abnormalities are normal responses to common hormonal changes. But early detection of breast cancer means a 98 percent survival rate and gives women time to consider surgery and treatment alternatives.

The staff at Lee Health’s Breast Health Centers delivers comprehensive, compassionate care in your time of need.

We use a variety of breast examinations designed to provide the most accurate diagnosis possible at convenient locations. We give our patients peace of mind with innovative technology, board-certified physicians who specialize in breast health, and technologists certified in mammography and breast ultrasound.

What Patients Need to Know

It’s important to find breast cancer early, and that’s why the our Breast Health Centers use advanced technology for the most accurate diagnosis possible. 3D mammograms are quick, simple and highlight issues long before they can be felt during an examination. That means faster treatment and better peace of mind.

3D Mammography - Detects 41 percent more invasive breast cancers and reduces false positives by up to 40 percent

3D Stereotactic Breast Biopsy - The only 3D stereotactic breast biopsy unit in the area

Multidisciplinary Breast Clinic - New patients can meet their care providers all at one time
